again approaches in The nest with great sensitivity and respect for the characters to not one but two very rugged, pedophilia, sexual drive, or in this case rather emotional, to preteens, and the lesser known gerontophilia, attraction to the elderly. What could have resulted in a sordid story becomes impossible bittersweet love story between a man too old and a girl too young. Today, given the taboo that involving brutal sex between adults and minors, is likely to approach the issue would not have been

Armiñán Jaime was born in or 
na wealthy Madrid family in 1927. Studied law, but soon directed his steps to the audiovisual world, first as a commentator, and later worked as a writer on television.
