Pokemon Heartgold Full English

My Life in Pink: Child's Play

Ma vie en rose. Belgium, 1997.

Director: Alain Berliner

Screenwriters: Alain Berliner, Chris Vander Stappen

Cast: Michèle Laroque, Jean-Philippe Écoffey, Hélène Vincent, Georges Du Fresne

Subjects of interest: transsexualism

Synopsis:

Ludovic
is seven years old and likes to wear women's clothes. His parents are disturbing when what they consider a game seems to be more serious for the boy, who speaks of becoming a woman when she is older and married with another child in the neighborhood. The extravaganza will start small to cause problems for him and all his family.

Comment:

If issues such as homosexuality and transsexuality are controversial in itself, let alone when it comes to minors. Sexual life does not legally exist before 18 years and still enduring the idea that any information we are given to children about sexuality amounts to a propaganda that can alter sexual orientation even smaller. In the same way is not as natural for a child to ask questions about their sexual identity; Ludovic is a seven year old absolutely convinced that it is a girl and her male genitalia are just the result of an error dreams which can be easily repaired later in life. Many transsexuals report that very young always felt the opposite sex, however, tend to filter all childhood memories and make them more or less relevant in terms of who we are or we believe when we get to adulthood, as well until recently only admitted when I was transsexual accompanied by a surgical operation was required to recognize its status as transsexual to respond to this profile have always felt in the wrong body, so many transsexuals may say what is expected of them, maybe not exactly answer the truth about what they thought and felt in its infancy.

If it is rather difficult to know if in reality cases such as the film shows children claiming to be clear that women at a young age is even more complicated to interpret this properly. Is the child going through a temporary phase of confusion or actually be a transsexual in adult life? In fact the opposite case, a girl who for a time would prefer to dress in baby clothes and not feel very happy with her sex, much less be a source of worry for their parents, would not automatically assume that the child is lesbian or transgender, while a male any deviation from the role assigned to her sex is considered a symptom of homosexual or transsexual.

The great success of the film is alternate lights and shadows, not to raise an idyllic and unreal situation in which being different does not involve any problem nor carry the excess ink showing the lives of those who are different as a succession of calamities and suffering without hope is possible, as the recently released film XXY . Ludovic's parents are neither heroes nor monsters, the rest of its surroundings, a bourgeois, conservative district, is acting more Manichean as hypocritical and repressive. In fact, when the custom of dressing little woman causes her expulsion from school, the film does not clarify whether this is a public or private school of a religious nature. In the first case, this discrimination would not be credible.

Another strength of Ma vie en rose is that it shows that they are adults who cause children to see or perceive others themselves as different and reject these differences. What for small game is just a cause celebre for the elderly; their children will soon imitate their behavior and be intolerant.

Top Scenes:

 • face their problems in front of an environment that does not understand and I wish he were otherwise, Ludovic takes refuge in his imagination, that her favorite doll, Pam comes to life and helps you become the woman he wants to be.

Pain In Right Leg From Thigh

LITTLE GIRL too young for ...

Pretty baby. USA, 1978.

Director: Louis Malle

Writer: Polly Platt

Cast: Keith Carradine, Brooke Shields, Susan Sarandon

Subjects of interest: prostitution, pedophilia

Synopsis:

Violet, twelve years old, born in a brothel in New Orleans in early twentieth century. The small waiting impatiently for the moment to follow the footsteps of his mother while she flirts with Bellocq, a bohemian photographer who likes to immortalize prostitutes. Following the initiation into prostitution when the madam sells her virginity, Violet stability is shattered when his mother receives a marriage proposal from one of its customers and leaves the girl in the whorehouse.

Comment:

do not know if a film like Little , curiously in his day went rather unnoticed, he could have shot today. In any case, not in a major Hollywood studio. First it addresses such a controversial issue such as child prostitution, and unlike other films that deal with sex with minors, as Lolita, not a teen actress used a nearly adult female, but a twelve year old girl that actually has a girl's body and seems to twelve years. But mostly, it speaks of the item without drama and without carrying out a moral. The film introduces us to the atmosphere of the brothel, which hardly leave only at the end of history, to understand that Violet, the baby daughter of a prostitute and that the world knows only that the brothel, sees consumers , the environment and the vocabulary of the brothel with a total everyday. At no time is conscious of being exploited and we can say he looks forward to the day that will be initiated to paid sex with adult men, which will make it a woman equal to all the women you know.

scenes that could be rough, like seeing the girl imitate lewd gestures and movements of prostitutes and use their vocabulary rude, or auction of the virginity of the girl, which is a kind of initiation ritual or even a holiday for workers in the brothel, the show naturally and without any kind of moralism, also helped by a superb job in photography by the master Sven Nykvist . Nothing is described as monstrous nor is there a desire to amaze or shock. In fact, in the period in which the action, almost a hundred years in the southern United States and many other parts of the world were frequently arranged marriages of children, particularly girls, twelve, thirteen or fourteen . And of course there was not so clearly as now the idea of child abuse. The film does not care about customers Violet among them may be pedophiles, but surely others that attract the curiosity of sleeping with a girl as a simple alternative without seeing in it a great moral transgression: the minds of the time like all the sex is a sin and socially frowned upon, do to a girl not too much worse things.

A film can be criticized for not developing too his main male character, the photographer Bellocq, or explain his relationship with the girl, Violet loves him the way he can be a girl her age. In principle it is not taken seriously until the small, after being abandoned by his mother, he leaves the brothel and welcomed her into her house, it is unknown whether out of compassion or because he feels desire for her. Initiate a curious relationship halfway between the sentimental and the parent-child couples whose ambiguity does not resolve the script. It is the spectator who, as usual in the Louis Malle film, you have to make their own discretion regarding the history and character.

Top Scenes:

 • 's virginity is auctioned Violet small to clients of the brothel under the watchful direction of the madam and the presence of all prostitutes of the area, including the mother of the girl. Finally, the highest bidder up to the room with her

Anecdotes:

 • The male character is inspired by EJ Bellocq, photographer actual photograph was engaged in settings that prostitutes themselves chose.

 • was presented at the 1978 Cannes festival, which won a technical award. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for best original music. About
director:

Louis Malle (Thumeries, France, 1932 - Los Angeles 1995) was one of the great innovators of French cinema in the late 50's and early 60's, though always considered outside the movement nouvelle vague. At the time, the amorality of his work and the absence of prosecutions and convictions to characters with free or unorthodox sexual behaviors caused much controversy, especially in titles like lovers or The heart murmur. The controversy, in this case for political reasons, Lacombe Lucien raised moves him to emigrate in the 70 United States, where it rolls and Little Atlantic city. Sexuality in his films is shown as a powerful force, amoral openly displayed or morbidity, with a large normal.

Indian Heroine With Largest Boobs

4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days: more illegal abortions

4 Months, 3 saptamani if 2 zile . Romania, 2007.

Director and Screenwriter: Cristian Mungiu

Cast: Anamaria Marinca, Laura Vasiliu

Subjects of interest: abortion

Synopsis:

Otilia, a student, try to put excuse for not attending the birthday of her boyfriend's mother. The real reason is not to go that night should help a friend who is going to terminate her pregnancy, illegal and dangerous in the 80's Romania.

Comment:

In times where the auteur increasingly opts for a somewhat vacuous aesthetics and less about the content, is welcome to 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days dare put on the table on the thorny issue of abortion, political correctness as it tries to avoid any treatment carried out in this matter will upset one or other social sectors. As A women's affair , the film focuses on illegal pregnancy terminations, although changing the Nazi-occupied France by Ceausescu's Romania. No coincidence that all authoritarian regimes, both religious and atheists agree on condemning and prosecuting abortion under the guise of protecting human life that will develop inside the body of the pregnant woman is quite apparent cynicism of this concern for the unborn as these schemes show a clear disregard for the human rights of other infants. The Catholic Church is not far behind just in having double standards maintained throughout its history and to present a complicit silence in all schools and seminars on all kinds of mistreatment and abuse of children whose rights both can not do enough when they are still in the womb and therefore serve to impose a strict moral repressive sexual and limit the freedoms of women. is widespread evidence that the banning is for very little when it comes to limiting the number of abortions, as demonstrated by the case of the Netherlands, one of the states with the lowest number of abortions even though they are can be performed freely during the first months of pregnancy, if the bishops and other sectors supposedly pro-life really want to limit the number of abortions would not oppose any attempt to give people adequate sex education and to promote the use of contraceptives, two methods of preventing unwanted pregnancies significantly more effective than touting sexual repression.

The situation found women with unwanted pregnancies is reflected in all its pathos in the film: no means to travel abroad and perform the abortion there as will the girls of good family addicted to regime, she is at the expense of a butcher who not only shows no consideration for the suffering of the girl, but takes advantage of his desperation to finally get vejarla and sexual benefits in hard and tense scene in the film . The film, set in real time to give an impression of verisimilitude, get all this sleaze show without falling into sensationalism or whoever please see looking for striking images. The staging of long sequence shots with a fixed camera can not be simpler, and the narrative, no great speeches or edifying conclusions. Cristian Mungiu only shows the tension experienced by the main character, Otilia, the best friend of the girl who has an abortion, her innocence and bitterness after having been humiliated too, that gives you a grudge difficult to predict consequences in relation to her boyfriend, who probably imagine taking the same stance of the healer cold and insensitive, especially after hearing sexist remarks as repulsive as everyday family. The director appears to believe that women can only have the help of other women, the film ends up being, after all, a story of friendship. Scenes

Highlights:

 • The man who helps the girls to abortion instead of trying to reassure the young pregnant woman takes an arrogant attitude, after subduing the two young candid orally, blackmails not reaching out to abortion unless the two have sex with him.
